Transfer news: Is PSG ready to make a move for Camavinga?

Still not a first-team regular at Real Madrid, midfielder Eduardo Camavinga could leave the club at the end of the season. According to the Spanish press, Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on the situation.

Despite a contract running until 2029, Eduardo Camavinga’s future is currently looking uncertain. At Real Madrid, the 23-year-old midfielder is going through a period of uncertainty.
Having been at the Spanish capital club since 2021, the former Stade Rennais prodigy has yet to establish himself as a first-team regular. Used in various positions and hampered by injuries, he has failed to become a key part of the Madrid set-up. A situation that is beginning to cause him some frustration.

Camavinga available for €50m?

Against this backdrop, Paris Saint-Germain sees an opportunity. According to the Spanish daily AS, the reigning European champions are keeping a very close eye on the French international’s situation and are positioning themselves as serious contenders to sign him next summer. The Frenchman’s profile, combining physical presence, attacking threat and technical ability, fits Luis Enrique’s requirements.
The competition is set to be fierce, however. Premier League clubs are also keeping a close eye on the situation. That said, Paris has a number of strong points in its favour: an ambitious sporting project, significant financial clout (read here) and the prospect of a return to familiar surroundings in France. For its part, Real Madrid would not necessarily stand in the player’s way should a satisfactory offer be made. A fee of at least €50 million is being mentioned in Spain, suggesting that the situation could heat up in the coming months.
